Vadim Tchijik , violin Born in November 1975, he started to study the violin at the age of six and gave his first concert when he was only eight. He finished the famous Tchaikovsky Central Music School in Moscow for the gifted children, First Prize unanimously at the National Superior Conservatory of Music in Lyon, then he completed his post-graduate studies at the High Conservatory of Music in Cologne, Artist Certificate at the Southern Methodist University Meadows School of Arts in Dallas, Chigiana Music Academy in Siena and always obtained the highest honours. Among his teachers were Boris Belkin, Ivry Gitlis, Edouard Schmieder, Herman Krebbers, Mihaela Martin and Irina Botchkova. Asuka Yamamura, viola Born in Tokyo in 1990 she started to learn violin at the age of seven. She studied with the professor Masayuki Kino and Yoshiko Yajima. She also had a master - classes with great musicians such as Ivry Gitlis and Nabuko Imai. When she was 18, passionate by viola sound, she started to play this instrument and studied with Kazunori Kawasaki and Kenta Matsumi. Graduated from the Kunitachi University College of Music with highest honors she was a principal viola of Japan College Music Orchestra. She also won a college audition and performed the York Bowen viola concerto with orchestra. Her chamber music teachers were Werner Hink (first violin of the Vienna Philharmonic) and Shigeru Ikushima (clarinet solo of the Orchestre du Capitol de Toulouse) First Prize winner at the Yokohama International Competition “Musica Santangero” in Japan she has performed throughout Japan with different orchestras and chamber music groups. She played at Kusatsu international music festival and JT Hall. She is currently a member of the Tama Philharmonic, the Ensemble “Lueur” and the Quintet “Noir”.
